1. Hydrogen Sulfide H2S
Course Description: The objectives of the Hydrogen Sulfide Awareness Training are to meet the Federal OSHA HAZWOPER training requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926 and ANSI Z390.1

2. CPR Course
Course Description: This course is ideal for workers who need to complete CPR training as part of their worksite training requirements. Anyone interested in learning the basic principles and techniques of CPR can benefit from this course as well.

3. First Aid Course
Course Description: This course aims at reaffirming the importance of first aid in emergency situations. It will take you through the necessary elements inside a first aid kit and help you in assessing the victim and the scene of the emergency.

Hydrogen Sulfide Awareness
For students who may be exposed to the highly toxic gas Hydrogen Sulfide at the workplace, we offer a Hydrogen Sulfide Awareness training course that can be completed entirely online using a computer with an internet connection.

Training on the subject of Hydrogen Sulfide, or H2S, is essential for all oil and gas workers who could be exposed to H2S during the course of their work activities.
​
This training helps fulfill the training requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926, ANSI Z390.1, Accepted Practices for Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Training Programs, and other regulatory standards.
​
Keep in mind that while this course provides information on the hazards of the gas, as well as ways to prevent and respond to exposure, you may require additional training in the use of company specific protective equipment and procedures. Training in equipment use and procedures should be provided by your employer and specific to your worksite.

CPR
The CPR course explains the proper technique for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the critical steps involved in this life saving procedure. This course uses interactive learning modules and quizzes to teach you the importance of CPR knowledge and prepare you to respond to emergency situations.

First Aid
This course aims at reaffirming the importance of first aid in emergency situations. It will take you through the necessary elements inside a first aid kit and help you in assessing the victim and the scene of the emergency.
We will also look at the different steps to administer CPR in emergency conditions. The course will familiarize you with the basic first aid steps to follow under specific circumstances such as choking, burns, external and internal bleeding.

Respitory Protection
If you work in a hazardous atmosphere, you’re at risk every day of illness, injury, and even death if you don’t know about and use the proper respiratory protection. This course covers the situations that require respiratory protection, everyone’s responsibilities under the Respiratory Protection program, and ways to select the proper respirator and breathing air system. In this module, we will outline a set of guidelines for the selection of respiratory protection equipment, situations for its use, and training in the use of the respirator required.

Accident prevention signs and tags
Purpose of Signs and Tags
Signs and tags alert you to potential hazards, precautions and other important safety information so you can make better, safer decisions.
Signs and tags serve as a reminder, providing important information about potentially unsafe conditions.

Signs and tags are NOT intended to replace guarding or other forms of hazard elimination and risk control.

Stop work authority
This course describes a systematic approach to be applied to identify, address and control hazards during all offshore activities. We discuss the safe work control procedure, the work authorization procedure and stop work authority.

Topics Covered: Understand the concept of Stop Work Authority (or S-W-A) and your responsibility to stop work when an unsafe condition or act is observed

Blood borne pathogen
Bloodborne pathogens are microscopic infectious organisms carried by body fluids that can cause disease in humans. In this course, we will describe what bloodborne pathogens are and what precautions are taken on offshore facilities to prevent infection.

Fall Protection
This course deals with Fall Protection in relation to personnel safety. We will describe the different roles and responsibilities when working at heights. We’ll discuss common hazards and protective controls for personnel working at heights.

Topics Covered: Describe the roles and responsibilities in relation to fall protection at offshore facilities. Identify common fall hazards at offshore facilities. Describe the equipment and procedures to support safe working at heights at offshore facilities.

This course provides an overview of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements working for Energy offshore operators, why it is worn, and the various types of PPE that offshore employees and contractors are required to use to remain safe and healthy at work.

An incident is an event that typically happens with no warning. This course provides an overview of company HSE policies and procedures, including incident reporting policies. By going through this course, you will get to know how to report all incidents that occur while working offshore

Mental health awareness course
Mental Health is a wide ranging topic. So throughout this course you will notice that some sections are covered in more detail than others. In certain sections we’ve also suggested further reading so you can explore some topics in further detail later. The aim of this course is to build your awareness of the wide range of Mental Health topics so that you can better understand and recognise these in everyday life situations.

Veriforce’s SafeLandUSATM 2021 Basic is a one-day safety orientation that is accredited by SafeGulf and SafeLandUSA. This orientation provides general safety information that workers need to know before entering a company facility and while performing their assigned work duties. Students will learn about hazards they may encounter in their workplace and become familiar with various practices to mitigate those hazards.
